Linky and Blogging Calendar

Hi Ya'll,

I scheduled a post for 6am today, so technically this is my second post of the day. I hear that is a major snafu but, I would like to know why? Any advice? I LOVE reading others' blog posts, and frankly enjoy it when someone posts something useful and interesting more than once in a day -- it keeps me on Blogger! Let me know what you think, because if it is a pain for others, I will stop :(

But until that time... I have some linking up to do!

Brigid from Daily Lesson Log is hosting a fun Spring Break Linky Party! For all of those on spring break (or those, like me, waiting), this linky is for you to tell the blog-o-sphere what's on your spring break bucket list! While my Spring break is not until April (because I get one week in February and one  week in April), I have a ways to go. But it's never too early to begin dreaming of all the wonderful things I'm planning for that special week :)

I am taking a lesson from Teachers' Cauldron and have decided to put my list on fun digital graphic paper and make it official :)

A big thanks to Creative Clips for the borders, My Cute Graphics for the, well, cute graphics in my button, and Kevin & Amanda for the adorable fonts!

I can't wait to get started...but I will have to wait, because my spring break is not until mid-April! It will come before I know it though...

And now, I'm SO excited to announce that I have begun my own Blogging Calendar! I have been wanting to do this FOREVER, but never seemed to get around to it.

Here is was my archaic organization strategy -- piling things into a folder. You can see how this could become a bit overwhelming, eh?

I was in desperate need of a better system. I thought about creating my own blogging planner, but really, there's no need to reinvent the wheel. I found a fabulous freebie from Mama Jenn's blog and just finished printing it out!

I put everything in an extra binder I had lying around, and voila! My very first Blogging Planner!

Isn't she a beauty?
Don't mind the yucky-looking binder...

Since I didn't have dividers, I made my own with an extra file folder I had. Of course, it needed to be decorated!

I also had to create my own tabs that I put on the pages of each month for easy organizing. I made them with post-its and taped one side to the other for each page I created. Easy-peasy!

The back of the binder has a Future Blogging section, as the planner includes things for, well...future blogging!

I am so excited to put this to use! There are so many things I want to blog about (or promised to blog about), that I keep forgetting until it's too late! I've already started filling in January and February, so that when I look back at the year in review, I can see the posts and giveaways I hosted to showcase again! I've also, of course started filling in the ideas I have for the upcoming months! Woo-hoo!

Now, for a TPT Binder...

Cheers,

  4. I don't see what the big deal is about posting more than once a day! I've seen the "rules for being a good blogger" list. Who got to decide that?

I love your comment about why you started this blog, to hear yourself talk!
