I love Valentine's Day...and not for the reasons you think. While I do have my someone special, Valentine's Day for me is about sharing the fun and excitement with my kiddos. I remember when I was a kid, I LOVED Valentine's Day! So of course, I have to share my joy for the holiday with my kids now :)
Today we did some fun Valentine's theme activities...starting with:
Khrys Bosland's (from Keepin' It Kool in Kinderland) Candy Heart Activity! We did this for morning work this morning, and the kids LOVED it!
Graphing our Candy Hearts
Let's see if our predictions were right...
More Candy Hearts graphing and estimation!
Then we played the Love Robot Matching Game and did the Roll and Cover and Word Scramble activities from my Valentine's Day Activity Pack.
Trying to figure out words within "candy"
Doing Roll and Color with Bingo Dobbers!
Rolling 2 dice!
And now for you Freebie...
Tomorrow is our 100th day, and I needed to prep a bit for our 100th Day Trail Mix. You can find this and other activities for our 100th day for FREE at my store. Find it here.
These are my prepped bags to bring tomorrow for kids to make their own trail mix.
I have also created 100th Day Smarter tags for our trail mix bags, but you can use these mini signs for any of your 100th Day activities and crafts :)
I created 6 of these because I have 6 students (duh).
